First time skating!

We took the girls to the public skate at the local arena. We had the best time. They started off with total spaghetti legs but after a few minutes they were much more comfortable and the last half of the skate they were doing it on their own. Emma wanted to do it by herself and could even get up on her own after she fell. We think Maddie's skates might be a tad too big but she was amazing on them. They loved every minute and did not want to get off the ice. We promised them we would take them next week and we can go when we are in Ottawa. They looked so sweet with their helmets with cages! Emma wanted to dance and twirl like some of the other people! I said after a few more practises she could!
